How to Apply for Internship

1. Position

2. Duties

    The intern will be required to assist secretarial staff in their work at the organization organizing policy-oriented intellectual exchanges called “Dialogue” in the field of foreign affairs and international relations.
  

3. Qualifications and Benefits

  (a) All ages and nationalities are welcome, but the position is primarily aimed at students currently undertaking graduate or undergraduate courses in universities. In addition, applicants must be computer literate (Word, Excel, etc.) and have Japanese language ability equivalent to JLPT Level 2 or higher.
 (b) The position is unpaid, but interns who work for the length of over four hours a day receive transportation costs (up to ¥1,500/day), and interns who work for the length of over eight hours a day additionally receive a lunch payment of ¥1,000/day.
(c) At the end of their internship, interns are qualified to receive a “Certificate of Internship” certifying the number of credits earned by them with 1 unit of credit for every 48 hours of work. The Certificate will be signed by the President of GFJ.
